How to change blades

FAQ

How often should I replace robot mower blades?
It depends on the mower and lawn. Husqvarna says main-disc blades typically last 3 to 6 weeks, Segway says every 80 working hours on some Navimow models, and Mammotion says flip at 50 hours and replace at 150 hours. Replace sooner if grass tips look frayed or whitened.
What are signs blades are dull?
Frayed or whitened grass tips after mowing, uneven cuts, and visible wear or damage on the blades (Husqvarna).
Does lawn type change wear?
Yes. Husqvarna lists mowing frequency, lawn size, grass type, seasonal growth, soil and fertilizer, and obstacles like stones and roots.
When should I stock up on blades?
Late winter, before the spring growth rush. Husqvarna also suggests a spring blade check because sappy spring grass can build up on blades.
